The project was developed after discussions with one of the teachers at the college who identified a need for leadership development in the school due to the fact that there is no longer a senior school and the year 10 students, therefore, have no role models. The program has been written up for further development and implementation.
The subjects covered were; “Introduction”, “Who Am I ?”, What Gets me Going?”, “How Do I deal With Crap?”, Leader Me…Why Not?”.
There is enthusiasm to continue the program when funds become available.
