Organisation Details

The Northern Women's Health Centre is the northern branch of the Central Coast Community Women's Health Centre. Our commitment is to work alongside and support women of all ages, backgrounds and cultures in a respectful and friendly way. We value women's own knowledge and skills in addressing their issues.

The Northern Women's Health Centre (NWHC) offers a broad range of services for women including workshops, activities and support services that enable women to make friendships, bond with other women, and work towards achieving their full potential. Many of our courses focus on personal development. We also offer support services such as counselling and legal advice and others that focus on stress management through yoga and massage. Our Monday morning activities including counselling and legal advice are able to utilise our childcare service.

Our service provides a safe haven for women and we are also able to provide support for women in crisis. We also have a broad range of information and resources about women's health and related issues.

All our services are free or incur a minimal cost.
