Organisation Details

The Central Coast Youth Health Service provides primary health services for young people, 12 - 24 yrs of age. It works with young people, community organisations and health services to promote young people's access to health care and ensure that quality health services are available for young people.
~ Access is via the worker on duty at Youth Health (ph 4356 9333), or youth GP clinics at youth centres (The Web [Woy Woy], Gravity [Lakehaven], and Kincumber), or Nurse Practitioner clinic at Youth Health (Wyong).
~ Services and programs include Aboriginal Youth Health Worker; ChIPS (for young people with a chronic illness); Counselling (for 12 - 18 yr olds); Homelessness Outreach Worker; Rock & Water (for anger management); and Youth Booth (expression of interst required from youth services).
~ A Paediatrician from Wyong Hospital visits Youth Health once a fortnight. A GP referral is required.
~ A Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist visits Youth Health once a week, for non-acute on non-urgent mental health concerns. GP referral required.
