Storytime in the park - Umina

It's that time of the year when we don our dress ups and head to the local park for some fantastic storytime sessions with 0 - 5 year olds.
This is our 3rd year of this event and we now have Uniting Care Burnside and Peninsula Family Day Care involved on the day and sponsorship of books and book vouchers from Umina Book Bazaar and apples and water from Umina Woolworths.

The Book Week theme for this year is "Across the Storybridge" so we have bridge themes in most of our stories and have TAFE Building section making little bridges for the children to walk over between story telling stations. We have an Indigenous, Spanish and Japanese story station, as well as music, felt board, bridge building and opportunities for children to do actions to stories.

It should be a great day - see attached flier. Give copies to as many families as you can and come along with some families - and everything is FREE!!

Hope to see you there.
