GREAT TURNOUT FOR THE ANNUAL - PAWS & CLAWS FOR A CAUSE - COMMUNITY DOG WALK!
The annual Paws & Claws for a Cause Community Dog Walk was held at The Entrance on Sunday 29th August with a huge turnout at the event which is in its second year.
The event raised over $5,000 for the RSPCA Central Coast and for the Wyong Animal Care Facility who both work tirelessly to educate pet owners on responsible pet ownership.
345 dogs were registered to go in the walk with over 700 people including many families walking along the waterfront with their beloved pets. A huge crowd gathered in Memorial Park for a fun packed day full of free entertainment, amusements, stalls and displays.
The Best Dressed Dog Competition attracted over 20 entries with 'Princeton' a striking little Pomeranian dog taking out first place (see image attached).
The Entrance Town Centre Management would like to thank everyone who was involved in making this event possible.
This event is proudly sponsored by: the Greater Building Society, Central Coast Express Advocate, Wyong Shire Council, Greencross Vets Wyong, Wyoming & West Gosford, Frontline, Hills Pet, The Show'em How Much You Lov'em Company, Petbarn and Oasis Natural Spring Water.
