Young Students and Housing project - Research Help Wanted
Shelter NSW and YFoundations are conducting research into the impact of the housing needs of young people on low incomes not being met where they are from regional areas of New South Wales and are seeking to attend or are attending universities in Sydney.

Specifically, the research wants to identify whether lack of affordable housing hampers these young people's:
. Decision to study at universities in Sydney.
. Choice of courses.
. Capacity to complete their studies.

We would like to speak to/have email and on-line contact with:
. Young people from regional areas for whom a lack of affordable accommodation in Sydney has had any of these impacts.
. People working in housing, student welfare, careers advising in schools or any other work through which they have met young people in this situation.

If you can assist us, please contact Paul van Reyk via pvanreyk@optusnet.com.au.
