Proudly presented by the San Remo Neighbourhood Centre, GOATS Family Festival is a unique event which is one of the largest free entry festivals on the Central Coast. The event opens Youth Week on the Central Coast and this year will represent its fourteenth anniversary.
The event showcases the many talents and passion that young people under 25 contribute to our community in a drug and alcohol free environment. Featuring local and interstate performers GOATS prides itself in giving young people the opportunity to perform in front of a packed audience and be inspired by fellow musicians. If also offers young people the opportunity to get involved in the planning and coordination of the event through stage managing, emceeing and involvement with the Organising Committee.
The day features over 40 performances over three stages, roaming entertainment and rides as well as community, food and market stalls. GOATS has grown to receive regional and statewide attention and was recognised in the 2011 Wyong Shire Council Australia Day Awards as the Community Event of the Year.
