Aim: To provide the participant with the knowledge, tools and resources to develop a complete volunteer program including templates for a volunteer management manual.
Who should attend?
This workshop is relevant to those who supervise and manage volunteers.
Summary: Before volunteers are brought into the program:
1. Development of the program
2. Recruitment of volunteers
3. Interviewing & selection of volunteers
During the time volunteers are part of the program:
4. Induction & orientation of volunteers
5. Supervision, support and management of volunteers
6. Training of volunteers
7. Maximising retention of volunteers
After volunteers leave the program:
8. Resignation and dismissal of volunteers
9. Continuous improvement of volunteer programs
Cost: Members of Volunteering Central Coast (VCC) $199.00 (GST inc)
Includes 3 hour training, manual templates and CD
